Konami released Suikoden II in North America in September 1999. It's a big war-story RPG built around the series' 108 Stars of Destiny, with over 100 characters to recruit and over 40 who fight. In the West it got a limited print run, and a lukewarm start meant Konami never reprinted it, so there's no Greatest Hits version. That's why US copies are scarce. Bring a cleared save from the first Suikoden on your memory card and returning characters start stronger, and the first game's hero can join you. You can also play it without the disc. It came to PSN in December 2014, and the Suikoden I & II HD Remaster came out worldwide in March 2025.

Should come with it
Check the listing photos against this list, and ask the seller about anything you can’t see. A missing piece should come off the price.
There was only one US printing, so make sure the disc is that printing and not a burned copy. Then check the data side for deep scratches and the case for its original cover and manual.

Buying guide
We'd buy the complete copy at $207 delivered from a 100% seller, about the $203 median, or a disc titled tested for $90 if you only want to play it. There are at least 28 for sale. Discs alone ask about $75 to $120 delivered and complete copies $196 to $404, so the $100 to $240 band mixes both and leans complete. Konami printed it once in the US and never made a Greatest Hits, so a green label means it isn't a real US copy. Read SLUS-00958 on the disc label and ask for a photo of the data side, which should be black, not a CD-R's green, blue, silver or gold. Skip the $404 copy at about twice the median, and ask questions of the "Tested And Working, Good Condition" title two sellers share.
$74.99delivered
The lowest ask here, a US disc on its own for $75 delivered. It isn't titled tested, so ask for a photo of the data side and a close look at the serial before you pay.
